The PX-50 Index edged marginally higher to 544.40 points on Friday, in a 0.44% rise. Cesky Telecom was by far the most actively traded stock, as more than USD 16.62 mil. worth of its shares changed hands; it rose by over 1.16%. A broker’s upgrade likely helped push the price higher, as does the approaching dividend record date (June 27). Komercni banka and CEZ traded with no particular interest. Today we expect a quiet start to the new week, with further demand expected in Cesky Telecom, and consolidation of Komercni banka expected at the CZK 1,900 level. Volume in the SPAD trading system reached USD 26.96 mil. on Friday.
