Cesky Telecom (CTel), the dominant domestic fixed-line operator, has set its retail ADSL fee offer beginning at CZK 1,600 (USD 55) a month, which is comparable to (or slightly higher than) alternative operators' offers. CTel and some alternative operators will begin providing ADSL services in large cities next week.
According to Czech Press Agency, the Anti-Monopoly Office has launched administrative proceedings with CTel regarding the ADSL offer, as some alternative operators have criticized CTel's retail offer as being too expensive for the connection speed. Neutral.
