The PX-50 index lost 1.07% on Friday, to 434.7 points. Ceske radio was the most heavily traded stock, losing 5.71% to CZK 396.20, trading as low as CZK 386 intra-day. The stock slumped after reports of the company’s April 8 EGM and its agenda (see below). Other stocks traded with no particular interest. CEZ still had its sellers, but the flow was not as aggressive as it had been earlier last week. Total market volume reached USD 24.9 mil. For today, the market is likely to trade on a quiet note with no substantial volatility. Ceske radio may be volatile as brokers speculate on the possible implications of the upcoming EGM and meanings for institutional investors.
