The Czech koruna has suffered another loss, falling to 28,16 CZK/EUR today. The weakening followed sell-offs on other emerging currencies, which may be driven by expected yield rise on the major markets. Today, Czech national bank has left interest rates on hold, in-line with expectations. This event didn´t cause any surprise on markets.
The CZK has ended weaker at 21,70 to a dollar, while the USD/EUR rate stayes roughly flat around 1,2980. In the morning, the German Ifo index brought some volatility, but its overall impact is marginal.
