The Czech market became the best performer in the region. The market was quite volatile and total traded volume was well above the long-term average. At the end of the session investors gave market final boost by short covering. All blue chips finished significantly higher, only Komercni banka and Philip Morris declined. Komercni was under pressure from foreign investors. CEZ after balancing around CZK 840 finally recovered and closed almost at the CZK 860 level. Zentiva was well demanded by both domestic and international accounts.
