The number of natural persons with overdue credit (90 days or more) has risen to 716k in June from 618k at the of 2008, according to the Central Creditinformation System. This means that 7% of Hungary's population cannot service their outstanding credits (bank loans, credit cards). Local experts believe this number is likely to increase as job losses continue and real wages decline.
