Monetary Policy Council (RPP) member Andrzej Slawinski said the current economic situation did not support the case for further interest rate cuts. Mr Slawinski added that he expected the RPP to change the policy bias from "easing" to "neutral" at the upcoming policy meeting. Mr Slawinski's comment lends support to our view that the interest rate cutting cycle has come to an end in Poland.
