Cesky Telecom was the most actively traded name as the stock tested the CZK 460 level - however absorption of stock was very strong at this level and it eventually bounced back to CZK 462, its opening level. The rest of the market was very quiet, with no particular news or capital flows. CEZ is stagnating at CZK 470, CME a touch stronger on a parliamentary vote banning TV ads on public channels, but volumes in the stock are far below expected levels.
Today the Czech National Bank is holding a regular monetary policy meeting with interest rates on the agenda. The market expects no changes in the 2W repo rate, which stands at 1.75%. A press conference is scheduled for 3.30pm CET.
