On Wednesday the euro opened at 1.1392 against the dollar. It appreciated up
to 1.1425 in the morning but stagnation in consumer confidence in France and
unsatisfactory unemployment in Germany changed the trend and the pair closed
at 1.1370 in Europe.
In the U.S. the rate opened at 1.1377 and closed at
1.1336. Today it opened at about 1.1338 and should stay between 1.1270 and
1.1370. A lot of statistical data in the U.S. is to be released today and
should influence the rate.
