Agrofert has said it will announce its intentions regarding the Unipetrol acquisition on Monday, September 30. While we do not expect that Agrofert will complete the transaction, its declaration of its commitment to comply with certain AMO requirements could indicate the opposite.
OMV of Austria declared its interest in Unipetrol in the event that Agrofert does not complete the transaction; OMV took part in the privatization tender in a consortium with MOL, but was not among the short-listed bidders.
