The Czech market was under considerable selling pressure on Thursday as Komercni banka lost a whopping 4.3%, to CZK 1,726; the PX-50 index lost 1.44% to 445.3 points. Komercni was the volume leader with almost USD 16.0 mil. traded. The stock did see buyers near the closing price level. Cesky Telecom had a descent buying flow emanating from abroad; the sell side was very active as well. Europe is likely to be cautious today after yesterday’s aviation tragedy in Milan, and the Czech market might trade somewhat down today as little is expected by way of any impulse. The total market volume reached USD 45.0 mil. yesterday.
