The PX-50 index lost 0.36% to 448.6 points on Tuesday, ahead of the May 1st public holiday in the Czech Republic and much of Europe. Tuesday was rich in the release of Q1 corporate earnings of the major domestic blue chips. Komercni banka stock dropped (closing down 2.1% to CZK 1,760) after its results were released, Cesky Telecom saw slight demand, and CEZ rose on a large volume (over USD 12 mil.) after its results beat the forecasts.
