Czech equities, as measured by the PX Index, were off by 5.2% in the past week and closed at 1,478.0. The overall volume of trading on the PSE reached USD 1,268.0m, slightly above its 12M weekly average of USD 1,253.6m.
The most actively traded stock, CEZ, closed the weekly session flat. and O2 CR also finished the week without any major changes. On the other hand, lost 11% on cloudy outlook despite its AGM approved dividend of CZK 17.65 per share. is now traded without dividend rights. Banka and Komercni banka were under pressure and erased about 7% during the past week. Ongoing profit taking on newcomer pushed the price down despite the fact that it was included in main Prague’s PX Index.
