The Czech market was losing steam today and underperformed the region. Komercni banka was under international selling pressure over the day despite the raised target price at HSBC (41,11 USD, -2,77%) to CZK 3,800. CEZ failed to defend CZK 850 level in closing as closed at CZK 847. Unipetrol (116,9 CZK, -0,09%) was well bid; there was one bigger buyer in the market. Even defensive Telefónica was losing ground in today’s session - CZK 425 works as a support level for now. Quite surprisingly, the Czech National Bank left the interest rates unchanged at 1.5% (60% of the market expected a 25bps cut).
