If CEZ does not sell the Pocerady power plant to Czech Coal for CZK 16.5 bln, Czech Coal is reportedly threatening to cut off coal supplies to the plant when the current contract expires at the end of the year. Czech Coal says that it is no longer interested in buying the Chvaletice power plant. CEZ said it will decide on all offers for all its various power plants at the same time. /Neutral, We expected 15 bln. CZK as kind of a minimum value of Pocerady power plant and the value of Chvaletice to be at least 7 bln. CZKCEZ officially applied to the World Bank to receive a guarantee on its failed investment in Albania. If the Czech utility and the Albanian government don’t reach an agreement in 60 days, the World Bank will cover CEZ’s damages up to 60m EUR (1.56 bln CZK). CEZ also received an official decision to revoke its license from the Albanian market regulator today. CEZ may file an arbitration suit, according to the statement. / slightly POSITIVE - exit from Albania is very likely at this stage. We calculate that CEZ may write down 2-3bln CZK (roughly 5% of 2012 pft) if decides to shut down operations in Albania but will be half covered by World Bank guarantee. The antitrust office rejected a petition by Areva to halt the Temelin tender. The office instead issued a preliminary ruling that forbids CEZ from signing a contract with the winning bidder. However, CEZ may continue in the process of judging the two remaining bids. CEZ said that the ruling will not slow down the process much. The antitrust office has created a team for examining the Areva bid. /Neutral, Just FYI/
