The Czech market led the CEE markets today adding more than 1.6% mostly because of CEZ. The energy producer set its new all-time-high at CZK 1,426. More than 1.5m CEZ‘s shares changed hands and we saw some profit taking at the end of the trading closing at CZK 1,418. Banking sector outperformed the main PX Index. Komercni banka was supported by local and international buyers and shoot up by almost 4%. Raiffeisen Bank raised its target price for Komercni to CZK 4,430, but also cut target for Erste Bank to EUR 62 in comparison with previous EUR 66. Unipetrol closed higher on the back of interest from local accounts who traded most of the volume. Telefonica O2 CR closed stronger by 1.2% at CZK 552 and erased drop of the price at the end of previous session. Unicredit upgraded its recommendation for Unipetrol, however the target price remain unchanged at CZK 10,255.
