The Czech market was trading flat for almost the whole day but got hit in final auction on thin volumes. CEZ tested levels under CZK 800, but the support line has held nicely so far, with couple of larger cross-trades at CZK 800. Sellers appeared at CZK 806. Komercni banka was well bid again, with sellers appearing at around CZK 4335. The stock closed at day´s low on a MOC selling order. (264,2 CZK, 2,21%) became the star of the day as coal seemed a nice and safe alternative to uranium which got hit heavily in the aftermath of the earthquake in Japan. (399,4 CZK, -1,11%) held steady at around CZK 402.5 with an international seller sniffing around. The stock closed below CZK 400, again in the final auction.
The Czech market will open gap down along with EU markets which are expected to fall by around 2%. All main names will be under pressure due to risk aversion.
