Investors started returning to Central European markets and the development with
fiscal reform on our political scene did not escalate. The rate EUR/CZK
opened at 32.335 in the morning. The koruna lost at the beginning of the
trading session to 32.430, i.e. to the level of mid January 2002. Later on
it erased its loss and closed at 32.165. The Czech currency opened at 28.450
against the dollar and after similar development finished at 28.080. Today
the rate USD/CZK began at 27.950 and should move between 27.70 and 28.40.
The rate EUR/CZK opened at 32.150 and should stay within a range of 32.00
and 32.40.
