• Lower Chamber of Parliament is going vote on non-confidence for government today. The proposal will pass if it is going to receive absolute majority of votes which is unlikely as government coalition has 100 seats. • According to survey of STEM agency, current government coalition would gain 104 seats in the Lower Chamber of Parliament. ODS would gain 74 seats, while CSSD only 67 seats. • ZEW index of economic sentiment declined to 20.3 in June from 24 in May while market was expecting improvement to 29. • Ford is considering building a factory in eastern Slovakia. Investment should reach several billions of Slovak crowns. Czech Republic is also one of the possibilities. • Also, German company Daimlerchrysler might build a plant in Eastern Europe which should produce trucks. Investment in this case would reach EUR 100m. The other option is to expand capacity of German or Turkish factories. • Germany’s producers’ price index in May increased by 1.9% y/y, while prices increased by 0.3% m/m. Both figures are slightly above market expectations.
