Starting 29 October, shares of KIT digital will be traded on the START market. The issue liquidity will be guaranteed by Patria Finance. The Exchange has received a request from KIT Digital to terminate the trading of KITD shares on the Exchange’s main market. Pursuant to this request, the Exchange decided to close down the trading on the main market as of 26 October 2012 and to transfer the issue to the START market, where the issue will continue to be traded after 29 October 2012.
“Among other advantages, the START market allows us to trade the so-called “unsponsored listings”, i.e., issues that are not listed on the market by the issuer but by a trading member. This principle is applied, for example, to the MTF markets established following the implementation of the MiFID Directive, on which the so-called blue chips from various markets worldwide are traded,” says Petr Koblic, CEO of the Prague Stock Exchange. In connection with the transfer of the issue to the START market, the issue will be excluded from the bases of PX and PX-GLOB indexes.
