Shell, one of the three short-listed bidders in the tender for the state's 63% stake in Unipetrol, said on Friday that it is in talks with several investors regarding the possibility of their joining Shell's binding bid, Reuters reported. Separately, the Kazakh KazMunaiGaz officially confirmed it had joined Royal Dutch/Shell, Dow Jones Newswires reported on Friday.
Recall that KazMunaiGaz submitted the highest indicative bid in the first round of bidding (up to CZK 16bn).
Separately, another short-listed bidder, Mol, is reportedly participating in due diligence with the Hungarian BorsodChem. Source: Euro.
