The PX-50 index closed down by 0.78% to 459.6 points on Tuesday. The market traded on the positive sentiment in western Europe, and activity rose over the past few sessions. Komercni banka was once again the most actively traded stock with a sizable volume of USD 9.19 mil. Cesky Telecom’s price weakened, mostly on foreign selling interest, and closed at CZK 270.30 (-0.99%). Philip Morris CR lost 0.61% to CZK 11,203, though interest in the stock is raised as the company may report its full-year 2002 earnings in the coming days. Traded volume in the SPAD system reached USD 19.37 mil. yesterday.
