The Czech koruna mildly lost ground on Friday, as all CE currencies marched lower ahead of Polish parliamentary election. The koruna stopped falling at EUR/CZK 29.57. A slowly strengthening U.S. dollar weighted too. There was no other significant event behind the price action.
Today domestic calendar is empty and due to a holiday on Wednesday the market might be quieter. Nevertheless, the election in Poland might set the atmosphere in the region. From the market perspective surprising outcome might deteriorate sentiment towards all CE currencies.
