The PX-50 index closed down 0.74% yesterday on a decent volume of USD 63m. There was weakness across the board, and all bluechips - with the exception of Unipetrol - were hit by foreign sell-offs. Unipetrol was well bid by local investors and the stock closed up 0.4%. All the other names ended in the red. The biggest loser was Cesky Telecom, down 1.4%, testing its support level of CZK 383. CEZ, KB and Erste Bank were down about 0.7% following negative sentiment on worldwide markets. For today we expect the index to stabilize around current levels, although further weakness is possible as worldwide negative sentiment on equities persists at the moment.
