The PX-50 index lost 0.93% on Monday in a quiet and light session; total volume reached only USD 6.3 mil. CEZ was the most heavily traded stock, as more than 978,000 shares changed hands; the stock closed down 1.15% to CZK 64.34. The market easily absorbed a Cesky Telecom investment downgrade (to “market perform”) from a leading US investment bank. The stock’s intra-day development once again followed the general direction of western markets, closing the session down 3.35% to CZK 253.80. Today, we will likely again see light trading with a rather downward direction.
