The PX-50 index lost 0.93% to 393.90 points on Friday as Komercni banka and Ceske radio extended their recent losses. Komercni lost 5.02% to CZK 883.80 after local brokers initiated stop-losses and the expected buying from foreigners did not materialize. Ceske radio lost in low-volume trading, with only 16,000 shares changing hands. The total market volume reached USD 16.1 mil. on Friday. For today, we may see a weaker CEZ following the latest Temelin news (the German Cabinet is reportedly to ask the Czech government to halt the plant on safety grounds, see below).
