The PX-50 index gained 0.43% in low-activity trading where total volume reached only USD 12.93 mil. Cesky Telecom broke the CZK 500 level from below, supported by local demand, and ended up at CZK 501.70, an increase of 1.09%. In Komercni banka, a couple of London brokers supported both the ADR and the local share market. A relatively small number of KB shares traded yesterday, only 87,550. Komercni ended up 1.47%, at CZK 1,035. Ceske radio traded in a thin volume, too (54,090 shares); the trading lacked a significant buy or sell order that would stir the stock as was the case Monday. For today, we expect a weaker opening in Cesky Telecom and expect Komercni to add a couple of points again. CEZ is not likely to exceed CZK 110, leaving the short-term upside limited. Ceska sporitelna is set to trade in a CZK 236-240 range and in a low volume. Ceske radio is not likely to attract significant interest today, either.
