The Unipetrol parent company yesterday released preliminary unconsolidated figures, with 2000 net profit reported at CZK 76.9 mil. This compares to the net profit of CZK 944.6 mil. in 1999, when the company released a substantial amount of bad debt provisions. We do not expect the stock to react to the figures, because the unconsolidated results play an insignificant role in the company’s overall performance. More relevant Unipetrol figures (subsidiary 2000 results) are due February 19.
