The Czech koruna closes the Friday trading marginally stronger at 28,49 CZK/EUR. The opening was weaker as some negative influence of the emerging markets continued. Then, the koruna stabilized and firmed again, helped by Turkish intervention. The Turkish central bank intervened to support the lira, which had only limited impact. However the CE3 currences slightly profited from this action by the end of the day.
The CZK lost against the American dollar today. The dollar firmed on international markets despite worse than expected durable goods orders. Its trading at 1,2522 against the euro. The CZK/USD closes friday session at 22,76.
