The Czech market corrected slightly on Tuesday, though volumes dropped back to average levels. Unipetrol was the day‘s top loser after reports that PKN has settled the acquisition with the Czech government. Now the market will position itself on the expectation of the obligatory buyout bid. CEZ lost over 1% on international profit taking, Cesky Telecom continues to trade in a narrow range though we see substantial demand for the stock below CZK 457 per share. For today, we expect average turnover with insiginifcant market moves; only Komercni will open markedly lower as the stock trades ex-dividend today (CZK 100).
