Electricity prices at a Munich Market reached record highs yesterday of EUR104.6/MWh compared with EUR32 a year ago. According to CEZ’s spokesman, CEZ has been selling all the electricity it has available at record prices domestically and in particular abroad. In 2004 CEZ exported 27% of its production of 61.6MWh. Exports in 2005 are expected to be lower, but contracts are being negotiated at higher prices, more than offsetting the decline. Positive. Source CTK
