CEZ said yesterday that it would submit an offer for the Slovak state’s 49% stake in Slovenske elektrarne (SE), the dominant Slovak energy producer. The deadline for bids is December 5. The Slovak Cabinet may fetch up to EUR 300m (CZK 9.6bn) in a tender sale of the stake, Reuters reported yesterday. Reuters also said that Unified Energy System of Russia and six other investors had expressed interest only in select SE assets, CEZ is thus reportedly the only investor interested in all (including nuclear) assets.
