On Friday the Czech currency opened at 32.570 against the euro and at 29.150
against the dollar. It reacted to current account deficit a little only even
when the deficit was worse then expected. However, the koruna lost to 32.660
against the euro and to 29.220 per the dollar during the day. Weak American
macro data then pushed the koruna to 28.880 when closed, but the koruna went
on weakening to 32.665 against the euro.
The rate EUR/CZK opened at 32.700
this morning and should move between 32.50 and 32.90. The rate USD/CZK
started at 29.040 and should stay in a range of 28.70 and 29.30. No
important statistical data is released today. The koruna stays under
pressure due to problems with fiscal reform and government stability.
