Reuters reported yesterday that the government’s privatization committee for Cesky Telecom is to meet tomorrow, March 15, to set a deadline for investors’ binding bids toward the sale of CT stakes held by the state (51%) and TelSource (27%). According to the official tender schedule, the Cabinet should receive a recommendation of the best bid by the end of March, hence binding bids would accordingly have to be submitted in the next two weeks. By then, the final bidding consortia will have been formed, i.e., there is much for the market to speculate about in the coming weeks.
