Index PX 50 fell 1.03% to 375.6 points on Wednesday. The session was very quiet as many European markets were closed. The local market felt the presence of profit takers, following Tuesday's gains. CEZ, the most active stock, was under pressure after the Czech Press Agency reported fresh turbine problems at the Temelin nuclear plant. This “helped” CEZ to break the CZK 80 level, but the stock picked up again towards the end of trading and closed at CZK 81.34. Other stocks traded at very low volumes. Total Wednesday trading volume stood at USD 12.92 mil. In the absence of any major news, Prague is set to follow other markets today.
