Ceska rafinerska, Unipetrol’s biggest subsidiary and a key supplier to the other companies in the holding, still have not reached an agreement on supply prices with other Unipetrol subsidiaries. The previous supply contracts expired in December 2001, and market-based prices are currently being used (MFDnes). This issue indicates that negotiations regarding Unipetrol’s post-privatization restructuring (e.g., Conoco buying Ceska rafinerska from Agrofert, the Unipetrol privatization tender winner) are complicated; the information is not new, though.
