The Czech koruna closes the Friday trading significantly stronger against the US dollar at 22,28 CZK/USD. The move came after US macroeconomic data afternoon - the 3Q GDP rose only by 1,6 % while the market expected 2,2 %. This dampens speculations on possible Fed rate hike early next year and causes another round of dollar sell-offs on international markets.
The CZK firms slightly also against the euro and ends at 28,35 CZK/EUR. The only news today was a new macroeconomic outlook by the Ministry of Finance. The market however didn´t react on the new numbers. Weakening region prevented the koruna from further gains and so the pair stays at its previous narrow range.
