According to Polish Press, Supervisory Board of PKO BP is going to appoint new CEO during today’s meeting. Press speculates that on the short list for the post are three candidates: Andrzej Klesyk (deputy CEO of Boston Consulting Group), Maria Paslo-Wisniewska (ex-CEO of bank Pekao) and Marek Gluchowski (current acting CEO).
Our view: We see the news as positive as the bank lacks the CEO since September last year, however we don’t expect any significant trading impact on the stock price today.
