The Czech market recovered in the last trading hour and closed in positive territory. The total traded volumes were well above the long term averages. Investors focused mainly on CEZ, Komercni banka and
Zentiva.
Erste Bank showed the performance of the day. On the other end was
Orco, which was falling for the entire day. Trading with CEZ was active on both sides. Stock finished up by 0.5% at
CZK 1,080 and improved its all-time-high.
Zentiva was under pressure due to selling from international accounts after weak 1Q07 numbers announced by Hungarian pharmas.
Telefonica O2 CR slightly declined, but closed above the
CZK 600 level.
