The Czech market lost the most in the EU. The total volume traded was almost triple of long-term averages. Zentiva set up the direction of the session, when it announced profit warning. Zentiva misses its forecast for the second quarter in the row. The stock was under selling pressure all day long and finished at CZK 1,192 (-16%). The rest of the board just followed the downtrend. Nervous investors were closing their positions with loses. No news could stop the Czech market falling down, not even slightly better US macrodata. Even Telefonica O2 CR which posted 2Q07 figures beating consensus was under selling pressure and declined by 1.6%.
