Czech equities, as measured by the PX Index, were off by 0.5% in the past week and closed at 818.7. The overall volume of trading on the PSE reached USD 596m, 34% below 12M average of USD 902m. Media company CME jumped during past week following USD weakening against local currencies. CME was the best performing stock with 14.5% increase. The most active listing CEZ added 2.7%. Nice performance showed also Komercni banka and Unipetrol. The loser of the week was Erste Bank followed by Philip Morris. No major corporate events are expected during ongoing week and also traded volume should be low.
