(Milan Prochazka) The PX-50 index closed down 1.19% to 407.7 points on Monday, after a strong selling wave hit CEZ (down 2.7%) and Philip Morris CR (down 6%). Sellers originated primarily abroad and basically followed the trend of last Friday. Today, we expect further weakness after US markets closed sharply down last evening. We believe Komercni banka and CEZ will be the prime targets for sellers. Total market volume yesterday reached USD 27.6 mil.
Please note that the PSE will be closed Friday, July 5, due to a public holiday in the Czech Republic.
