The PX-50 index edged up 0.04% to 823.8 points on the last trading day of the quarter. The index managed to gain 24.99% YTD. Yesterday's activity on the PSE was dominated by trading in Cesky Telecom, which shot up 1.5% to above CZK 340 and managed to sustain that level. Yesterday was a day of large volumes with a number of active accounts. Komercni banka gave back some of its gains and returned to CZK 3,200. As of today, the regulator has lifted its restrictive policy requiring Czech pension funds to invest only into Prague listed shares; we expect some of the funds to expand their investment universe. For the local market, we do not expect any substantial inflows from these investors. Volume in the SPAD system reached USD 72.5m.
