Information and Technology Minister V. Mlynar reiterated in an interview with the BBC yesterday that there is presently no investor interest in the majority sale of the state-owned Cesky Telecom (CTel); if an investor did emerge, the minister said that the government is prepared to swiftly sell its 51% stake in the dominant fixed-line operator. The Cabinet intends to sell the majority stake by 2005, he said. Neutral.
