The Czech HN daily reports that the Cabinet might modify (or even cancel, but that is unlikely) its energy-sector restructuring plan in order to boost fiscal revenues in 2003 (the Czech Republic was recently declared liable to a payment of CZK 10 bil. to Central European Media Enterprises for failure to protect a CME investment here).
The Cabinet might decide to sell only four majority stakes in the distributors to CEZ, instead of the five majority and three minority stakes currently planned.
