Index PX 50 kept falling on Friday again and lost 0.46% to 365.9 points. There was some enthusiasm in the morning, especially in Ceska Sporitelna, when a domestic buyer aggressively lifted the market to CZK 277, but it was only temporary. Ceska Sporitelna in the end gained 1% and closed at CZK 274.8. Cesky Telecom was again the biggest loser, as it followed the ongoing negative trend in the European telecom sector, and lost 3.1% to CZK 250.5. Overall trading was very quiet and with a very low volume. Given NASDAQ’s Friday losses and given the lack of truly positive domestic news, the Czech market will likely open lower today.
