The PX-50 index lost 2.18% on Friday amid a low overall volume of only USD 17.2 million. Cesky telecom was the top decliner, losing 3.75% on the day to dip again below CZK 250 - the market awaits the outcome of second-round bidding for the state’s 51% stake in the company. Komercni and CEZ were also down Friday, losing 1.1% and 2.4% respectively. The domestic market still lacks catalysts for any growth; indeed, the decline is likely to continue today, as US and European markets fell markedly on Friday.
