Recently purchased gas stations will be renamed to Benzina this year. The news follow to Benzina’s (100% owned by Unipetrol) acquisition of 19 gas stations from Paramo (Unipetrol holds 73.5% stake) for CZK 252m. Company controls 327 petrol stations and control 15% of the market, compare to it’s the biggest rival OMV with 216 station and 10% market share. Unipetrol’s CEO stated that company intends to invest about CZK 300m to renovation of its station. It is possible that Unipetrol prepares for Paramo’s sale similar like ongoing tenders of Spolana and Kaucuk.
