Inactive market makers and a below-average volume of only USD 6.6 mil. marked Tuesday’s trading in Prague. Cesky Telecom, the closely watched Czech stock, weakened by 0.20% again to close at CZK 595, as market makers looked at a London broker who was a big seller in the stock recently, but seemed not to execute trades below CZK 600, at least on Tuesday. The RIF investment fund traded actively after the fund’s AGM approved to speed up the fund-opening process—the stock gained 2.95% and closed at CZK 1,450. Overall, the PX-D index lost 0.07% yesterday.
