Cesky Telecom: Contactel, a domestic alternative fixed-line operator, has filed a complaint with the Anti-Monopoly Office (AMO) about Cesky Telecom's acquisition of the remaining 49% stake in Eurotel (brining its ownership interest to 100%), the No. 1 domestic mobile operator, due to market-competition concerns, Reuters reported yesterday. The AMO already is currently reviewing the transaction. We believe that the AMO will approve the acquisition, as Cesky Telecom was already the majority owner of Eurotel. Although certain AMO requirements cannot be ruled out, the antitrust regulator will not object to the transaction, we believe. Neutral.
